#1 Friday 7pm-11pmGame Description
Four years ago, the University of Guelph Games Club restarted and built on an ancient tradition: the Games Club tournament. This adventure, written by one of the executives that resurrected it (me), was the first adventure run by the tournament organizers. It also lasted 13 hours. This version has been suitably trimmed down to not last 13 hours. Experience the very beginning of the Pathfinder Tournament right here!Game Description:
You wash up on the shores of the New World, the remains of a once great fleet sending reinforcements and aid to a beleaguered colony. Short of people, short of weapons, short of resources - you will have to be enough to turn the tide of the coming battle, for the colonists have awoken something in the New World. A dark presence, an empire long dead and forgotten by the living.
You will need to use your skill, cunning, and all the magical and martial prowess to prepare the colony for the coming battle and ensure its survival against the evil forces that threaten it.
System: Pathfinder, 6th level adventure
Pre-generated characters will be provided, but feel free to bring your own 6th level Pathfinder character as well.

1) use 25 point buy for determining your ability scores.
2) Max HP at first level and then a fixed rate each level based on HD:
d6: 4
d8: 5
d10: 6
d12: 7
3) Standard starting gold for level 6, but you cannot spend more than 25% on any one item.
4) Feel free to use traits. I've rarely used them in games, but I don't really care if you bring any.

Question about my character
posted by Vikram on Mon, 27 Jan 2014
So I'm making a half-orc barbarin 1/ranger 5 and I have a question. One of the half-orc alternate race traits called shaman's apprentice gives you the endurance feat. Would it be a waste to take this since I get endurance as a 3rd level ranger? I posted this question on a forum and there's a few differing opinions. Some say it would be a waste, some say you'd get another ranger combat style feat, some say you would get Die Hard, and some say you just get a feat of your choice. What is your opinion on this? Thanks :D
