Game Description

Monsterhearts is a game of teen/20-something melodrama where your character happens to also have the pressures of being a monster on top of all the other crap that teens and 20-somethings have to deal with. The game is sexy, smart, harsh, and unforgiving just like your social life. It evokes game play similar to popular media like Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Being Human, Jennifer's Body, Veronica Mars, Degrassi, Ginger Snaps, Lost Boys, Kick Ass and many other coming of age stories.

Monsterhearts is based off of Vincent Baker's Apocalypse World engine and pushes more toward relationships, and narrative play than tactical game play. It is just as possible to get into a fight and kick butt.

Has anyone else played Monsterhearts before? I have a bit of experience (3-4 sessions) and was curious what you all have been exposed to!

Can't wait to play! Thornlord is a super fun Gm, we're gonna have a teenaged angtsy blast!
